Tropical Protein Treat Shake

We just love how bananas remind us of a tropical beach holiday, yet are available pretty much all-year round. Banana also makes the best smoothies with its pleasant sweetness and rich texture when blended with milk.

Aside from its versatility and availability, bananas are also packed with healthy goodness. They’re rich in fiber and potassium, and can even lower your risk of heart disease and diabetes. Here, we add to that goodness with protein, and a hint of coconut for that extra tropical feel.

1 tbsp vanilla protein powder
1 cup water
1 small banana
2 tbsp reduced-fat sour cream
1 tsp coconut extract
powdered Stevia (to taste)
