Mocha Ice Pops

It’s time to take your coffee out of the mug and into a popsicle mold. This Mocha Ice Pop recipe lets you enjoy the taste of coffee in a refreshing dessert. A great way to satisfy your sweet tooth and get your coffee kick at the same time around summer.

These Mocha Ice Pops are naturally sweetened with dates which give them a unique flavor and texture. The protein content is also spiked with a scoop of whey powder, so there are more reasons to enjoy this cold and refreshing dessert!

Ingredients:

1¼ cup brewed coffee
⅓ cup chopped dates
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 scoops whey protein powder, vanilla flavor
3 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Soak dates in hot coffee in a blender for 30 minutes.
  2. Add yogurt, protein powder, cocoa powder, vanilla, and cinnamon to the blender. Pulse until smooth.
  3. Distribute the mixture evenly into popsicle molds, filling each about three-quarters full.
  4. Insert sticks and freeze for about 8 hours.
  5. To unmold popsicles, run the mold under warm water for a few seconds, being careful not to thaw the pops.
